Beautiful

Yesterday the sun wouldn’t shine

I was deep within my mind

Everything just seemed so out of rhyme

And for days the skies were gray

I couldn’t see the light of day

Seemed like nothing good could come my way

This morning I woke up to find

You’d been right here all the time

Sometimes this world can make these eyes go blind

Oh beautiful    Oh beautiful

Oh so beautiful to me

Today I watched the setting sun

Brilliant shades of illumination

My eyes were blessed with such a lovely one

Tonight I found the brightest star

Its golden light shined from afar

Now I know who you truly are

Oh beautiful    Oh beautiful

Oh so beautiful to me

No better place that I could be

With new vision now I see

Took but a moment to believe

Such a gift to receive

I sat beside a mountain stream

It flowed by like a gentle dream

Like a poem in motion in an enchanting scene

Then I walked through fields of green

Dancing colors in the height of spring

I felt this thread of life through everything

Oh beautiful    Oh beautiful

Oh so beautiful to see

I wandered high into the trees

Drawn by the music of the breeze

There I found such a perfect peace

Oh beautiful    Oh beautiful

Oh so beautiful to me
